I've sent you a PM. That is a George Stratton most likely built by Bill Grey. Bill also built for Clive Stuart and I believe trained Brian Rourke, the full wraparound seat stays are used on Rourkes bikes :)

How much?

Seriously, to someone with little knowledge maybe you'll get lucky with £75-£100.

To someone who knows what it is - is anyone's guess.

To me: not something I would buy.

Roadking.

This looks to be a perfectly decent, but very run-of-the-mill bike: rack & mudguard mounts suggest utilitarian, not racer; basic, but serviceable components; 531 tubing, but probably main tubes only.

All the popular bike websites have "how much" threads and they're full of people with low post counts (ie new members) offering average bikes that have been in the back of the garage for ten or twenty years, which they've dusted off on the back of the cycling boom.

I'm not saying that there's anything particularly wrong with this, rather than the market is flooded with bikes like yours.

Top whack if you clean it up, present it nicely and take some half-decent photos: £75.

Quick sale, minimum effort, assuming "ride away condition": £50.

A friend of mine was given a 60's Raleigh Gran sport.

It has the original rear much, racelites, stem, bars and brake levers and an old brooks b17 on it.

sadly somewhere along the line, it was painted red with some kind of dodgy paint, so will need a respray.
It also had the original front mech, gear levers and chainset removed and replaced with 70's stuff. So will need those.

Still looks like a sound basis for a restoration project. I'm not interested as i've enough on at present, ebay seems to have these for silly money restored (I presume its the deranged and the deluded, I'm just wondering what a restoration project like this would go for?

Got this frame for £3.00 from the local tip. How much if anything is it worth?

Argos Columbus Thron/Campag 8spd

Think it's 58cm (ish)

This will soon be for sale, almost brand new, only a few hundred miles on it, but lovingly stored for 20 years or so.

Need a rough guide of what something like this is worth.
