531c Bob Jackson in a sensible size and what looks to be excellent condition: an easy £200, I'm no expert, but BJ is highly regarded.

Also try this page: LFGSS how much thread; BJ is very popular there.

Couple of retro parts that I'd like some price advice on if you don't mind..

Brooks Saddle - leather is very stiff but being Brooks I assume easily softened with the correct product applied.

TI Raleigh mini saddle bag - again material is very stiff.

What sort of value would these items obtain?

Cheers

Hello,

What are fair prices for a pair of NOS Campagnolo Record hubs? Post-1978, including complete skewers. And for a NOS set of Campagnolo Xenon hubs?

Thanks!

Depends which.

Record Strada (to 1980) with the black band around centre are worth £40-70 for the low flange and maybe add a tenner for the large flange. If you have the later 8sp C-Record version (removable grease-port clip in centre) then a bit more but not much.

Xenon hubs, very low range I'm afraid, maybe £30

I don't normally comment in this thread, but I watched (and bid on) dozens of these last summer on EvilBay, trying to bag a bargain. If it was given a clean it should make £45/50ish imo.

Hi,

I have my granddads late 50? (not sure of exact year) Raleigh record ace touring bike

I have most of the original parts for the bike (I think) the wheels are rare so my dad told me?
Wheels are rare - 40 spokes - newti hubs, with stainless steal rims.

Also has some very interesting forks?

I wanted to spend timing doing it up - however I've got a car project so this needs to fund some parts.

The paint on the frame is not good and it would need to be stripped back etc. it has chrome ends.
I've got all the spare parts - including the original single speed front chain ring, I think the rear gear mech broke so at the mo it's got newer (90's?_ chainset and gears etc.

Anyway just wanted to ask - what sort of price would this sell for? only ball park...

Ta
