What sort of price could this Viscount Sprint frame fetch?
It came with a Shimano Octalink bottom bracket fitted, would that detract from the price or add to it?
Thanks

Hi could anyone help me out please? Do I need to post some clearer pictures?
Thanks

Hi bike fans.

I've found this bike and it has got my attention!

It's an MBK and really that's all I know about it!

The seller is not a cyclist but has a friend who is a cyclist and he has told the seller that it's worth 500 euros??? I've knocked the guy down with the price from 500 euros to 400 euros, he won't go any lower with the price!!

I was wondering if any of you guys know anything about MBK or this particular MBK and importantly is it worth the 400 euros???

Any knowledge about the bike and advice on the price would be very much appreciated.

If I purchase it I might turn it into a fixed?

Thanks very much. :)

Sadly MBK tends to be a bit of a rude word around here. MBK are very common in France and don't go for very much at all. Yours seems to be equipped with very pedestrian parts (OK but nothing special) i.e. CB brakes, plastic Sachs brake levers, no-name cranks, big old plastic DT shifters etc. Save your cash for something better, this isn't worth €100.

I've decided not to purchase it as I sort of new the guy was asking to much. I didn't realise MBK was a dirty word on here my apologies :)

Thanks for the info and advice.

Here it is in all it's glory

Could be cleaner, but I preferred to show it in it's natural state

Lovely. The only way that could be more French is if it played the Marseillaise when you turned the pedals...

Yorkshire shed finds.......
My mate from the local market bike stall, has inherited these from a friend, who's father died,he used them all at some stage in his life

He'd like to value them and may be open to offers, the Carlton and cola no are easy to identify but we are a bit vague on the others and years,
Does anyone know what the one with the funny bent forks is ?

The one with the funny fork could be a Bates B.A.R. Also seems the frames are older than the kit
