I think I`m letting go one of my TTs and this Bianchi is the ugliest. Would it be worth something like 200 to 400 euros?

I've seen several early 90's Lemond Steel frames up for sale on e-bay with asking prices around the £350-400 mark. The point is, do they actually get sold at these prices?

The reason I ask is that a mate of mine has one hanging in his garage in the purple/orange fade scheme. His daughter used to race on it in her teens but she has no interest now so wants to sell it on. I haven't seen it close up yet but it will probably be in pretty good condition. For the same reason I don't know the tubing etc., whether it's a Bilato build, exact size etc. (but it's around 21.5/22").

I would like to give him/her a good idea of what to ask - and could probably put it up here for sale - so are those asking prices realistic?

Can't see that, I'm not an e-bay'er.

EDIT - sorry, should have said thanks for the link

With a good clean up and period wheels £200 - £250 maybe. Full restoration (respray, period parts, etc) perhaps double, although very subjective these old CB's....

It's taken me months to put this picture up, but have finally come around to having to sell it. Or consider swap for a decent tri/road bike. I've owned it since new circa 1986 from memory. I still have original toe clip pedals, white turbo saddle, brake leavers and downshifters. There's a few scuffs (nothin major) on the top tube and some slight pigmentation on the chrome around the forks. 56cm. It's going on ebay probably within the next 2 weeks. What do people reckon?
