Hi, just looking for some advice about an old Bob Jackson frame I have.

It's a 120 spaced, 62ctc, 531 tubed road frame in need of a refurb.

I didn't think it would be worth a great deal, but on checking it out the serial number is 3796.

I googled Bob Jackson frame numbers and they seemed to be up to 6 figures by 80s.

Does anyone know whether this low serial number would make it more valuable to a collector?

I would post photos but not allowed just yet.

Any advice appreciated, cheers!

Think it's a Quantum Pro frame and forks.
It's in my dad's shed so would can ask him to get serial no and measure it.

WOuld come as F+F with the stronglight headset. Also would include the rather fetching saddle (it's actually a v. lightweight titanium shelled job - more comfy than it looks!) and seatpost.

ANy ideas on value?

Hi guys, i am trying to identify a friend's bike. It's a Bianchi, I think early 80s (1981?), with campagnolo gearset, aero coronado crank, mavic rims and weiman brake levers (pics below). Any idea of the model and how much he could seel it for (either as it is or cleaned/repainted)? The saddle is the only non-original part, i think. Thank you!

Hi there, I'm thinking about selling my Orbit America Sport and would appreciate some opinions on value. As far as I know it's fairly original and other than a few minor marks on the paintwork is in great condition. Replaced the slightly damaged brake levers yesterday with Shimano Exage (that was what was on it before but they look a lot newer)

I did a bit of research and think the rear derailleur is a Capagnolo 980 so it could actually be a 1981 bike but I had a look int he catalogue and it doesn't relly match with any model, though the frame geometry and details do. May be a Rekord 841?

Any idea about the model? Value?

Not a great pic I know, it's all I have till I can pick up the bike**.

*****=update edit

*won on evilbay
**seller's proving hard to pin down and has low feedback :!:

Hopefully it comes through as I like the look of the bike, what's meant to be will be. If it doesn't happen I'm sure something will turn up, bit miffed about it at the mo as I'd hoped to be riding to work on it this week.
Still, never mind a mate has lent me his a custom Moto Guzzi streetfighter so I'm useing that for the comute instead :)

Hi all, on behalf of my friend, how much would you say this Orbit Lo-pro conversion is worth?

Top picture is how it looks now, but it'll have a stem, seatpost,Campagnolo wheelset and BB with it.

Maybe the bullhorns shown on the bottom picture sold with it too.

*Note* He's sold the 105 groupset and it's now fixed.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.
