Paletti looks lovely especially with the C-Record Ergo group. Clearly high end. I'd say £700+ for that (the ahead converter stem (?) doesn't suit it too well imo though).

The Massi is a bit of a mix you'd probably get about £350 complete or maybe £200 for the frame and £200'ish for the rest.

Just my unresearched opinions of course....

RIH Mistral, 531 frame, Shimano 105 Golden Arrow throughout, Cinelli bars

Rear wheel needs attention, but assuming I sort that out ok

Do a good job tidying it up and you may get £200.

Hi chaps, can anyone tell me roughly what my road bike is worth? I think it was made in the early 90s. I'd love to keep it but need space in the shed for a bike more suitable for riding to work on.

Spec:
Peugeot Professionnel 400 - 23"/58cm Reynolds 531 frame
Mavic rims
Shimano RX100 groupset, 7 speed rear cassette
Exage 500EX brakes
Recent brake pads
Recent new headset
Recent new front tyre (Conti)
Recent new 'Push' alloy seatpost

Bad bits:
One of the spokes on the rear wheel is broken
Some chips on the paint but no dents (seems to have a weak paint finish)
Could do with some new bar tape (have some spare somewhere I think)
Material has come un stuck from the bottom of the saddle

Got a Simplex rear derailleur, fairly certain it is the JUY 51 (marked only JUY with no 51) but it has the earlier 'Record du Monde' nut instead of the JUY51 cap(possibly a very early version maybe?)
Also got the long frame mounted gear lever.
Any idea as to value in good used/working condition?
BTW I realise the chain is wrapped around the pulleys incorrectly ;)

Hi, just bought the bike below.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWNX:IT

You can see on the auction how much I paid it and was wondering - how much does it actually worth? It has a 18-23 tubing which I know is not one of the nicest, but condition are very good and all parts are original. Have I overpaid it?

Cheers
