Hi

I love Pinarello, and Montello's in particular, so maybe I'm biassed to set a price for this , so I'll thank you if anyone can give his opinion on a reasonable price to sell it quite soon . I built it for myself time ago but I do not feel confortable on a size 56 and I need cash for another built on my size (Another Pinarello of course, Sestriere ;)

Pinarello Montello, size 56, clean and greased.
Original paint and decals, but not in a good condition. Some rust on chromed chainstays.
Mavic MA2 rims, VGC, with new Vittoria clinchers
Shimano 105 groupset 8 speed
New cable sets and bar tape
Selle Italia Turbo saddle

Hi,

Just for fun, how much would mine worth? I built it for a long time and I lost track of the amount I invested in it. Result was more than I could have hoped for.

Hi Folks!

So have this wheelset that was "misplaced" on a Giant Cadex CFR3. It was the one mentioned in the weird Shimano FF "freewheel" thing post. I don't have any use for it and the Cadex needs other wheels. So I want to sell.

Set-up seems to be early 80's with Campagnolo 36 holes high flange hubs with Ambrosio 19 extra Elite Aero Dynamic rims. The hubs I can find what they sell for here and on Ebay. But the rims seem to be quite rare (and pretty cool with that early aero). Comes with the Campo skewers and hubs spin very smoothly. Wheels are straight.

Cleaned them a bit for the pictures but nothing to wild. So what should I ask for it?

a slightly different kind of what's it worth, how do you think i'd value my ribble for my new-for-old insurance policy? it's a kowal-built 653 record one with a mostly-centaur campag setup

I'm looking for some opinions on my Rochet randonneur, restored not too long ago only to find that it doesn't have the kind of ride I like- although I remain a total fan of the very particular style of these 50's era French bike's:)
This example could certainly be in better cosmetic condition though, unless this level of patina appeals to you. I personally don't mind it, although I can see how others wouldn't like it so much when the bike's colour scheme isn't such a noticeably light one like mine is, which naturally shows up dark spots etc.
It would probably be easier to value just the bike's (all original) parts- which are pretty high quality/exotic- but my opinion is that the whole bike as a package is such a lovely item that this would be a real shame. And of course, these bikes are pretty rare here in the UK, and the outgoing/classic styling could well tip the balance against the ubiquitous conservatively styled British tourers from this era, IMO...
