Old steel Garelli bike from the 80's. Garelli is a company that makes motocycles. The guy at the bike shop says that the front crankset is original and the back deraileur is something someone added.

How much is it worth? It works well for me.

So I've happen across what seems to be quite a rarity... a Bianchi town bike. The groupset is nothing special, a single on the front, five gears on the back and a Shimano Tourney rear derailleur, the frame appears to be bog-standard gas pipes and the wheels have steel rims. I thought someone had painted it up as a fake but it does have nice little touches like 'Bianchi' stamped into the mudguards and a built-in dynamo.

Some googling suggests it was around in the late 80s and is called a Bianchi Flumen (the decals on it are luminous), which seemingly was similar to the Stelvio. There's a few bumps and scrapes on it but overall it's in pretty good nick and as far as I can tell all-original.

It's not a high-end bike, but it is quite rare. But what's it worth, that's the question?

I could be wrong, but it looks to me that it's had an impact to the front and bent the forks back.

Hmmmm.... it's possible. Although if that's the case I'd have expected the front wheel to be a bit bent, but the I'm pretty sure the rims are original and it was actually the back one that needed a bit of truing. The bike seems to handle reasonably well - although naturally I've no idea how it *should* handle.

This came as a totally non-matching fork on a bike I bought.
Doesn't fit any builds I have a planned, so would like to turn into bike tokens.
I'm no expert, but have seen these Colnago forks referred to as Precisia, steel, art decor, etc... and advertised for up to £300!
I'd appreciate any information on the approx price, name of the fork, paint scheme etc. Will probably eBay, but at the moment I don't have much info to go on the listing.
Condition is very nice, though with a few minor blemishes from use, removal of crown race, on the dropouts from wheels, and some small scratches. Not perfect then but far from an embarrassment!
Many thanks
Mat

Currently in the Vendee, seen a "cycles Salmond" (local builder from pre '90s). Newly refinished dark blue, chrome ends / forks, Columbus SL with Nuovo Record throughout except rear derailleur, which I think is C-Record. Superb condition on everything - 450euro. Worth bringing home to sell on? Have space on bike rack... can get pics if anyone interested.
