Found these two guys hanging about at the tip!
Both need care and attention as they have had hard lives,
Bob needs a new top tube and a gentle stem removal,
Harry could do with a full makeover.
But I am chuffed as nuts!!! :D :D :D

Excellent find!
Look great, why would anyone in their right mind throw them away.
Enjoy

The Jackson is indeed columbus and has a campag headset and cinelli stem (stuck)
The harry quinn has no tube stickers on it but has a lovely aly campag headset installed.
Both toptubes are through tube cable routed though.
Will post more detail when I get time
Cheers

NO COMMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe what you come up with.

The Quinn interests me. Is it 23"?

I've seen HQ some ads recently from around 1980-ish and he was selling some frames in 'Falc' tubing which (I think) was a bit more 'budget' than 531. If there's no sticker, perhaps it's one of these?

Put me down for first dibs if you decide to 'pass it on'! :D

Just being there at the right time I guess :D
I just can't believe what some people ditch. I must have missed more than I have got over the last 3 years but still amazed at whats come up.... must do a list sometime.

The Quinn is 22.5" C to T or 22" C to C, no tube stickers but does have the "handmade by Harry Quinn" sticker. It has a mavic BB installed that may be one of those that they put in when the threads went. I will have a closer look and let you know.

The Bob Jackson is a 22" and on closer inspection the top tube isn't
as bad I I first thought. It would appreciate a respray but I may give it a cosmetic once over to see how it looks.

I will get some decent pics up once I have cleaned them up a bit but its cold and dark out there and the boss seems to think that something called Christmas is approaching and wants me to take her shopping all the time! :?
Cheers
