Same from China now, even Aliexpress are adding 20% on at the till, rather than the before methods of buyer pays if it gets noticed.

And that's it. Even if I ship from France, it all needs to be declared electronically on-line prior to the goods actually moving, and even before the lovely Frenchy post-woman takes the parcel off my hands at the post office.

There is no escape, there is no longer roulette in the hope of parcels slipping through the net by being glossed over by insufficient staff or sleepy staff or hungover staff at a Royal Mail sorting office.

I've just gone to Spa Cycles website to look for a couple of bits, and they're no longer posting to the EU because costs make it unviable. Bloody Brexit, it is causing so many problems for so many people I just cannot see how anyone thought or thinks it was a good idea. I'm still angry that it has affected me loads, yet I wasn't even elegible to vote in the referendum

I listed a tt disc wheel on eBay in January and forgot to untick the gsp option. Someone in Slovakia bought it. All ok and he’d had it a couple of weeks. Then there were issues and he asked for an amount refunded. The cost and hassle of getting it back here was more than the refund so obviously I paid up.
I now only sell in the uk on eBay. A shame but less hassle for me.

Just sent a wheelset from The Netherlands to the UK. Before Brexit I could post just with an address label for €9. Now I have to make an invoice and fill in customs papers. I wrote down a value of €50 and a weight of 3 kg. So I was 'fined' for the 2 kg that it weighed more. Total cost was €26. So +200%.

Such a shame, because I've only had positive experiences here with UK buyers. And I think me selling parts to UK enthusiast will end here because of brexit.

Just been told by my local sorting office that click n drop for overseas is no longer an option as the paperwork is often wrong! Told to take it to the post office. Local post office are now pissed off! They scan it, put it in a sack that the sorting office pick up later and return it to the sorting office I went to in the first place. No paperwork checks were carried out at any time. Seems like the management are having an arse elbow moment.

From an Ebay.fr shipping partner. Previously they delivered to local collection points pan-EU at very cheap rates, but of course that delivery model can not work with a customs border. Ebay.fr must be well pissed off

Ordered a reasonable size parcel ( couple of footballs size) from Lithuania on Thursday. Not a great value (<£160 inc carriage) and was hopeful that it would arrive in March, bearing in mind all the export paperwork and Brexit hassles.
It was on my door step when I got home this evening!!!!!
My other order which was coming from Germany in October...........well that is another story all together!!!!!?1?!?1?!?1?1?1 Dont think they have even got past the export paperwork yet on that one!!!
A crazy situation! Brexit was never going to be painless and simple. People were very naïve to think it would be!

It will sort itself out in time. The EU customs union was useful, but I can't say I ever thought of it as fantastic. VAT across the board as standard, ouch? Oftentimes easier to order from the US, which generally has far better products in my view, not to mention a beneficial exchange rate. Very rarely was I caught by customs charges. For business its worse, but I think the paperwork will be sorted out and streamlined, it's only been a few months.

However, HMRC are on drugs if they think foreign retailers will bother to register with them just to sell to the UK. That seems entirely counter intuitive. They will sort it out because its blatantly unworkable.

People had years to prepare for this, but they were preparing for an unknown. The paperwork is crackers at the moment, but aside from the silly VAT requirements, a lot of this is coming from the EU side, specifically France. At least thats my understanding?

Also, there is a container shortage/huge price premium, which is causing immense problems with shipments from China (so basically all stock), but has little to do with Brexit. It's forcing prices up and causing delays.
