My recently resprayed and rebuilt Carlton TEN, bought this last year (last picture below), and had it resprayed by
Dave Colbeck who did a gorgeous copper orange paint job over a silver base. Really pleased with the colours, and
added a bit of 'barbershop-ing' on the seat-tube. Rebuild included my first ever wheelbuild on the Weinmann 27x1/14 rims
- setting spokes to pattern was much easier than I'd anticipated but dishing the rear was a job and half. Be leaving this one for some
easy summer cruises around the back lanes of Dorset. Hope you like.

Wow! Just stunning :)
Have been following on the facebook group and still can't get enough of looking at that deep paint.
It's a really lovely build, well done.

Jamie

Another notch of regret for selling my Carlton (although that was many years ago)!

Looks amazing and very faithful!

Yes, early variant of Reynolds 531 too, not as light as later butted versions. But lovely lug-work.

That's a fab finish, would you mind if I could have Dave Colbeck's contact details.

Thanks

You'll find him on Carlton Cycles of Worksop Facebook group. He posts regularly.

Live in Dorchester, my usual trips would be across Purbeck to Swanage or up through Shaftesbury.
