Hi guys! During Corona times, I also found this beautiful 1993 CANNONDALE H800. I always loved the idea to work on a "trekking" style bike. Real "cool daddy style" with carriers or handlebar bags and stuff *lol*

Crazy story: The seller also included the "original saddle". A *NOS* 1993 Flite Titanium which he never used. Worth more than the complete bike! I loved that ;-)

I started to mess around about two weeks ago. Lets see where this leads to! I always loved high quality 700c bikes of the late 80s and early 90s!

Surprisingly little interest; folks here don't love a hybrid it seems.. I think it looks great. Wonderful original spec.

I dont know why, but the general interest and the general posting in this forum is very low and kind of disappointing. Maybe its just my bikes (KLEINs, Cinelli Supercorsas, MARIN high end or Cannondales) that are so very boring ... *rofl*. But ok! I see this more as a journal to myself ...

I nearly bought the same bike, same size a few weeks ago, went for £150 only two bidders, frame almost unmarked. First time I've seen one on Ebay UK in the 5 years I've been monitoring. It was a tad too far to travel and I have too many bikes, but seeing yours makes me feel I should have made the effort. 1993 was one of the better years for Cannondale and with that spec it should have been called a H1000 at the very least.
