Gazelle Champion Mondial Jubile

Retro Newbie
Hi all,

Since i am new to this forum, which is great, i would like to introduce myself and my bike.

I am Marcel from the Netherlands and i like bikes very much!
I first started with a MTB which i still muche use, but since several years you can find me also on the road.

My latest bike is a real rare one, it is produced to celibrate the 100 year anniversary of Gazelle in 1992 and it is number 105 of 200 pcs.
As you can see it is quite original except for the wheels, i still have the original tubular ones and some tyres.
The guy i bought it from was treating it like his grandchild, and i only could buy it if i promised to ride it, because he could not anymore.
I really can't find a scratch

And here are some Pics

Hi Marcel,

1st I would like to welcome you :D

Your story sounds a bit like mine: 1st MTB, later road enthousianst as well

Please, show the Jubilé! I do not see it. (edit: Okay, there it is) I am on them pretty close. From time to time see one offered on classified sites. Where in Holland did you get yours from?

That is a beaut Marcel! Too bad they do not make them like this anymore.

Is that Shimano 600?

What are your plans with it?

I was just very lucky on this one, it was a friend of my father in law.

Yes it is fully Shimano 600 with Biopace on the front.
And i'm gonna ride it like i promised...cause that's what it is made for.

Hello Marcel and welcome. That really is a very nice bike, the condition of it is excellent. Take care of it!

I visited the Gazelle factory last week. The paint shop has to be seen to be believed....

There were a few old one-off projects decorating the workshop area that were real heartwarmers....

That is beautiful

Gazelle were my favourite manufacturers for a number of years and one of my all time favourite bikes was a Gazelle Mondielle Cross frame

Look after it, ride it and polish t every day

Now off to ebay to see hat I can find
