Raleigh Randonneur ST 531 refurb project

Recently aquired a Raleigh Randonneur built with reynolds st 531.
It is going to be my next touring machine. Rebuild to happen at the back end of this year.
Frame away for a repaint . Finish will be "plum"

That is looking like a really nice colour. Wasn't sure what to imagine when you said plum but that has come back looking great.
Should build up nice.

Short update .
Rebuild now well under way . Pictures coming soon .
A lot of components updated or changed due to wear and tear on orginals .
Gone for Campagnolo gears front,rear {Taken from my retired Mercian} .Old style 8 speed ergo levers . Shimano chainset . Brooks saddle /Record seat pin . Kept the old SR stem and SR Randonneur bars . Wheels changed to Mavic rims on Hope hub rear ,Campag large flange Record front hub .
Sks Stingray blazing red mudgaurds . Velox bar tape .
