White Campagnolo headset??

Did Campagnolo make a white headset in the early 90s? I have a bike that has white painted (plastic-coated?) cups, with a Campagnolo branded top nut. The whole bike is Campagnolo Veloce 8 speed, even the Look pedals are Campagnolo branded, but a white headset doesn't appear anywhere.

Anyone heard of such a thing?

Some of the cheaper Campag groups used painted components in the early nineties. Xenon? Stratos?
