I guys, I've been lurking on the forum for a little while.
just bought a piece of what i think is eighties retro. The gear levers are on the down tube and the colour is a vivid green with a hint of flip tone blue.
Its a 700c frame with brazed on cable retainers on the top tube. The groupset is shimano, as are the brakes. I'm mainly a mtb man but i've loved the few runs i've had. My best guess is 1982 ish.
I've bought it as a practical alternative to my big ticket mtbs but i'm mighty impressed.
Ive also got a carlton pro-am 12, and a brace of mtb's on the other forum.
