BB problem fit

Hi

I have an issue with BB Fitting

Dissmantling a Lemond Maillot jaune
Reynolds 853
Removing Dura ace 7700 octalink BB

Trying to fit the BB On a Concorde Prelude
Columbus SL Frame
The cups simply falls into the shell
Seems to be smaller size cups

Any ideas why this is
Campagnolo BB fits the Concorde with no issues

Both British threads

Sounds like the concorde has Italian threads.
Get a vernier on it to check.

Just had a quick look at octalink bottom brackets out of curiosity given that you can pick up a UN 55 for not a lot of money.....not cheap are they!

Bit strange that you cannot get the cups separately

Italian cups using the English octalink BB would mean the axle is too short as the Italian BB shell is longer?
