New to this site and seeking some advice. I have a Coventry Eagle Clements Dominion which I’ve owned from new, bought in 1983, so it’s 45 yrs old! Condition is reasonable for its age ( better than the owner). 3rd & 4th photos are of the bike today. 1st & 2nd photo is the bike in 1983 and its original receipt.

I don’t really want the bike anymore but I think there may be interest if I were to sell it as a couple of times I’ve seen cyclists stop and look at it when it’s been parked up. So my questions are 1) any views on its value please and 2) is this the best forum to try and sell it or should I be trying somewhere else?
Thanks in anticipation for your honest input.

Hi Karen, welcome to the forum :)

There is a separate thread at the top of the page main road page ' The road bike how much?' thread. That's probably the best place to look for a valuation or to at least get an idea. Just stick the photos in and a s much information as you can, size, age, components etc.
Found here: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=46710

This has got to be the best place to sell it, for sure.
Once you have a price then just stick and add in the complete bikes for sale section, again as much detail as you can with some good clear photos. Just make sure it has a price rather than ask for offers, just check the rules for selling at the top of the for sale page, highlighted in yellow.

Best of luck with it.

Jamie
