Next project, is this 64cm 1989 Raleigh 531c race, it’s quite a big frame in excellent condition except from the rear chain stays which will need shorting out, the main worry is there’s a hairline crack on the head tube, still deciding on best course of action , probably sliver braze it then try and fabricate some kind of strengthening colum. I need to find a set of forks a large type I’m not sure the size I’d say 700c with a steering tube height of over 250mm.
I if doesn’t go well with fixing the crack, I’ll keep the bike for using on the indoor trainer. It’s definitely worth a go.
