Ok, so this might seem like a dumb question, but can anyone advise me on what kind of clincher/tubular wheel takes these Clement CF2001/T EVOLUTION tubular tyres?

I bought them to go with an "all Italian" build I’m preparing for, but have no experience with clinchers. If someone could steer me towards a 36h set of rims circa 70's - 80's (preferably Italian) I would be very much obliged.

I just thought they looked different.... and the little Italian flag would suit the exclusively Italian kit theme I'm trying to achieve.
Other options where proper tubulars on 1960's Fiamme rims, but a bit too track for the tourer I was aiming for.
Or I do have some Nisi Sport Toro Stretto vintage 36 h 27 inch clincher rims that are about an inch wide, but I cant find any Italian boots to fit them.

Seem to remember these or something similar. I am sure that they were made to fit a normal clincher rim. Got one to try?
Trying to sell the ride of a tub without the glue. I reckon they were the worst of both worlds but who am I to know?

What sizes do normal clincher rims come in or are they only one size?
is there any information on these tyres that will steer me in the right direction?

These questions might seem really dumb, but I have never played with clinchers only good old fashioned 27” x 1.25” road tyres with inner tubes, so I have absolutely no knowledge of them.
I do have some tubulars glued to some 1960’s Fiammes bolted to a Claud hung on a wall, but only ever ridden a few hundred metres on them and didn’t fancy fitting them to a sixties tourer, so when I came across these Clement Evolution tyres I thought I’d give them a go.

Re:

Two common rim diameters for road wheels - 27" - 630 mm, or 700c - 622 mm.

Width varies a bit. Up until a few years ago, most 700c clincher rims were in the 16-20 mm wide range externally, more recently the fashion is for wider rims - about 23 mm wide externally.

The rim in that picture looks like a fairly standard 80s or 90s clincher rim - like a Mavic MA2 or similar - about 19 mm wide externally, 13 mm wide internally.

Thanks Cromoman,
Panic over, I had some Mavic 700 clinchers at the back of the garage, I’ve never used them and initially they seemed too large, but with a little Vaseline, they eventually played ball… now did any Italian manufacturers make anything similar back in the 70’s - 80's?

So, after rummaging through Velobase and an e-bay search throughout Europe, I found a pair of red anodised FiR EL19’s in Romania.
Velobase has a photo of some plain/neutral anodised rims, marked up as 70’s-80’s.
Most of the Italian kit I’m putting on my 1968 project bike is 60’s – 70’s, so I think I can live with this.
