Campagnolo Khamsin wheels - replacement Rim advice

Good evening, I have just picked up a bike fitted with a set of somewhat worn Campagnolo Khamsin wheels ( the wear indicator has disappeared). Are replacement rims available or is there a worthwhile alternative rim please?

The bike is pretty fully Campagnolo equiped so it would seem desirable to stay with this brand.

Campagnolo don't supply replacement rims for Khamsin wheels, even to us at the main Service Centres - the labour cost to rebuild them, relative to the cost of a new pair of Khamsins makes it uneconomic to re-rim them.

There aren't any wear indicators on the Khamsin, so if you are in any doubt, consult a trained and competent shop mechanic.
