Campag 9 Speed Cassette Lockring Help PLEASE!!

I bought a nice 9 speed Campag titanium cassette and matching Campag 9 speed Record hub. The cassette fits as it should but the lock ring won't screw into the freehub to secure the lot together! The cassette all screwed together as it should on a generic Campag-style hub, but the genuine Campag 9 speed hub isn't having it at all!

The lock ring thread diameter measures approx 27mm but the freehub thread diameter is approx 24mm. Both are matching genuine Campag 9 speed parts.

Any ideas, folks??

Looks like you need the 26 x 1 lock ring and not the 27 x 1. Part CS-201 is the one I think you need.

Gets worse, depending on your smallest cog the lockring flange changes size too! So you can have different lockrings with the same thread but different outer flange diameters, the lockring should state the smallest number of teeth it will work with. Designed to make you buy more bits.
