Hi
Finishing off a 1972 period correct build. Wanted to fit correct era Clement tyres and wondered if anyone can confirm what colour the Clement branding on the Seta tyres was at that time. I understand the 60's were a red rectangle - wondering whether the early 70's were the green with white text, yellow with black text (or other?)
Can anyone help?

Re:

When I used these Clements in the 70s the Silk had a yellow label for standard silk (seta) and green label for silk extra. The extra actually weighed about 6.5 ounces and had a latex covered base tape. I used them for road. I recently found one in its original plastic bag and condition was absolutely perfect, as new.
Some of the very best hand mades with hand mounted tread.

Re:

That looks like the tubulars I used in the 70's, I was a veteran by then (over 40) and needed any help I could get.
Yes correct.
