Bike jumble - worth it?

Are they worth it or just rusty components that are no use?

Just wondering if people bring nice stuff to sell (E. G. Restored frames and components etc) or just rusty tat? :)

Also what kind of eras are usually represented?

I've been to loads sold at a few and you will get everything that you mention from rusty tat to the cream and stuff from all ages new race to pre war items are usually covered. Are they worth it in a word YES :D .

Re:

But be warned, if you go to sell, you'll be there early enough to see what everyone else has, and you'll come home with tons of stuff and sell 3 things yourself

(Voice of experience. Great fun though, if you don't take it too seriously)

The best ones eva were the Freewheel ones in Cricklewood back in the 80s. Some of the deals were incredible and got me hooked.

Most of the good stuff goes before the doors open
But there's bargains to be had
