Mavic Module 3 CD rims - 630/27 inch - vs. Schwalbe tyres

Hi folks

I've 630 Mavic Module 3 rims on the Holdsworth Mistral that I am doing up at the moment.
Have searched but cannot find the official size / width etc for the rims.

Have some Schwalbe 27 x 1 1/4 / 630 28-32 tyres for it, but they seem to be miles too big for the rims. I can't get them to sit in them at all.

Does anybody know the formal ETRTO of the Mavic Module 3's ?

Thanks
MM

Are you absolutely sure they are 630 rims? Sounds to me that you have 622 (700c).

Remeber that the number is the bead seat diameter, NOT the external diameter of the rim. A 622 rim would in all probability come up very close to 630mm diameter, factoring in around 4mm for the bead.

Thanks Hamster
Yes, pretty sure - Measure Twice, Cut Once as a wise old joiner once said.
I did it a few times and a couple of different ways. Diameter was landing in the high 630's.
It was my first thought when I found they weren't fitting. I have some 700's in the shed and tried to fit them but they wouldn't go on... well, they probably would, but not without using undue force and a large screwdriver to lever them on with.
Am wondering if the rim is at the lower end of the tolerances.
