Devout Dirtbag
I recently bought a 1984 Panasonic dx4000 from ebay. It seems like quite a rare model, with half decent equipment. I was so looking forward to working on it. After many messages to try and get a postage tracking number, the seller has now disappeared from ebay. I will eventually get my money back, but i really wanted the bike.

Re:

The world is full of weird people, some of them 'sell' stuff on ebay.

On the plus side, you can start searching for something else.

Re:

Always check they have enough feedback and no negatives. Was it in the UK? Sadly there are some idiots just out to scam. Least you can get money back. Can only wish for karma on the scrupulous seller. See if they list it again and report them.

As a person who always looks for the best in people, I will ssume there's a genuine reason. And best case he sent out the bike. As its coming from the US still plenty of time for it to arrive.

This is so important & contact the seller before hand as you can learn allot in there response beforehand & could save allot of heartache later.
