Anyone know what brand this front mech is, say's Thunder, possibly... Pro?

Bike is around mid late 70's i believe.

I think it is the 'Apex' rather than the 'Royal' (stamped on the arm). The difference is that the spider on the Apex is pressed onto the crank while they are forged in one piece on the Royal.
 
Yep, the cranks are Apex but the chainrings are Royal LA5, stamped at the lower left of the chainring :)

Back in the 70's some people liked the Apex cranks because they were lighter than the one piece forged Royal. Personally I'd have eaten one less Aztec bar and stuck with the Royal :)
