Late 1980s early 1990s Rossin Bike Valuation?

Hi all. I have a Rossin Roadbike which has been stored since around 1995 i'm thinking of selling it rather than it just sitting here gathering dust for years to come.
Decent condition for age its been stored indoors but slight signs of pitting on the forks and a few slight nicks here and there but overall a lovely looking bike that just needs a clean and polish..
It has Mavic Gears ,Levers , Wheels and Brakes , Cinelli Bars , Shimano 600 crank and pedals.
I would be grateful for any info regarding it's worth and where i could sell it.
Thanks Jason

Re:

No idea on a price. Searched ebay and they very on prices. Obviously campag groupset commands more. Would £600-700 be to cheap? Put it up for sale here or if you have a facebook account, vintage steel is real is a great site and worldwide. Anyone have anymore thoughts???

Simon.

Re:

Me neither,.. I PM'd Jason to say price-wise, £200 would be a massive bargain, and sales >£600 are fairly rare unless the bike is in tip top condition with the best gruppo.
So... somewhere in that range?
Mat

Hi Jason
Its a nice Rossin and the Mavic gear will definitely help it stand out but as for price, as has been mentioned it does vary a bit.
For me personally I wouldn't start it on ebay under at least £400
This thread though should really be in the 'Whats my bike worth' thread located here: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=46710

Cheers all for the advice

Re:

When I saw it I guessed at £600 but that depends on corrosion and what frame tubing has been used - I have never heard of it before.

IF the seatpost and stem are free in the frame and IF there is no corrosion on the chrome etc, then I'd be happy with £500-£600 if it was mine. If not, then considerably less.

The chrome as slight what i call pitting but ive not tried polishing it or washing it for that matter its still dusty. If i can get a reasonble price for the bike i'd be happy to see it go to someone who would use and look after it..
