Chainring clearance

OK. So had the BB threads chased and new Shimano BB installed. Popped on the chain rings this a.m. and was surprised at how little clearance there is between chain stay and teeth on inner chainring.

What do we think - good to go? Or get a BB with a longer square taper shaft?

Re:

And bear in mind, the front mech might not move in as far as required.

If it has no chance of touching the stay even with a bit of twisting action (to mimick you putting power through the chainset), then you could try it

That will flex an hit the stays - either another long BB or the tapers have flared or they're JIS/ Campagnolo/ something else taper that doesnt quite fit as expected

It's a Shimano BB, and an SR Custom chainset.
