RAL code for 70s Red Raleighs?

Hi folks, I've got an old Europa and a 531 framed Raleigh that I want to repaint.

Does anyone have the correct RAL code for the shade of red I need?
 
I'd like to know to as I have a team liveried frame arriving soon.

Raleigh didn't use RAL colours but had their own internal colours and codes. For example CF12 was pale metallic blue. There is a list of the old codes on the internet somewhere but don't relate to a modern colour. We will have to wait for someone to come along who has matched it by trial and error :)

I would gladly but I don't have a scanner thingy...! :)

Plus the paint on both has about 40 years of grime on it so it might be hard to scan?
 
They have them in diy places. Surely car sprayers can match paint in a similar way?

A good paint shop will have a RAL colour chart so you can match the nearest colour. Its easy to get a bit obsessed with matching the existing colour where in reality the shades used vary through time. I think Bianchi Celeste have about 10 versions of their colour.
