Fiori Amalfi mystery

Hi RB folks! What an Indian summer-esque that was! Managed via laid-off work circumstances to get out for a good 20- to 40-miler every day bar three between mid September and October when it proved too wet for the chosen jalopy. Gotta look after that chrome  .

It's not a classic by any means and despite looking for info which seemingly doesn't really exist, it's a very decent rider. A Canadian Norco concern branded as a 'Fiori 'Amalfi', it's (apparently as badged) 27.2 Columbus SL with no-named forks. Lug work's nice, tho'.The original spec was full Campag Victory and Ambrosio Montreal tub rims later swapped out to current GEL280 front and GP4 rear and Cinelli65's. I'm not heavy (ca. 12st) but the front on 32 spokes shows no signs after 4 years of any deterioration. The front used to be a matching 36 GP4/Record/Sapim(?) aero until I stupidly forgot to put it into the car at Blairlogie cp and some err... clown... nicked it within hours. What a hero, eh? :? As typical, there's that great springiness from proper steel - even without rifling - and a keeper for sure.

Any folks any ideas as to better provenance? Particularly interested in ideas re the fork crown...

Mmm, file upload states files too big. That's new. Upload thumbnails instead?

Cheers (or sláinte) as our new rBOTM mod understands :D .
