Can anyone help me ID this frame?

Retro Newbie
I picked up this frame recently, and am confounded as to the make. No badges, serial numbers. A decal that says "Custom" with a red hand; Reynolds 531 decals in French and Campy rear dropouts. Mix of Campy and French components, which I believe are all original (with the exception of tires & freewheel). I'd say by the components it is of late 1970's vintage: Campy Nuovo Record derailleur set, Wolber Super Champion Rims on Campy Super Record hubs, Campy Record crankset, headset, pedals, Mafac brakeset, Pivo stem, Wolber Gentleman 81 Super Champion rims. I've included photos of the frame and lugs. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!

Re:

The Nervex Pro crown is an oddity, very strong but rarely used.
Any chance this is not British??

Awesome, I think you nailed it bertinjim with the Gitane Super Corsa! Some further searching confirmed. Thanks to all for your assistance, greatly appreciated.
