Orbit America road bike ,
any info on age , and what was the original spec
and where they all Reynolds 531c frames
any help
thanks

Have a look under the BB for a serial number. The 1st two digits may be the year.
From what I've seen yours looks very late 80's / early 90's. (sloping fork crown and later solid typeface decals).
105 and RX100 parts seem most common on examples I've seen.

Unfortunately there's not a lot on the web about Orbit bikes.
I think you'll have to keep googling and see what other examples are built with.
I wish you luck finding anything more as I didn't get a single reply when I posted about my unknown model Orbit frame.

Hi thanks for the reply , had a look at BB but no serial number
Shimano 105 and campagnolo parts fitted

Sloping fork crown on this one, '95.

Orbit Pista track bicycle (1995; Great Britain)
with Reynolds 531 frame and fork.

But they are calling this one an America:
A classic UK made lugged steel road bike from the mid 1980's. Triple butted chromoly frame tubes, Shimano Index Downtube shifters, Shimano 105 derailleurs, Shimano 105 Double Crankset, and alloy wheels. Completely serviced and set up with new tape, tires, new cables and cable housing. A solid vintage bike that will serve you well on recreational rides or getting across town. Seat tube is 54cm center to center so it will fit riders from 5'6" to 5'9".

So, sorry, this is just posting links basically but maybe it is of help.

A solid yellow does make a nice looking bicycle.

Saw another web entry speaking about a '92 Orbit.

I raced on one in the late 80's.
Looks very similar to yours...mine was 531c as well I think.
