Info needed on Giovani road bike

Dirt Disciple
I've been offered to buy this Giovani road bike and I'm interested in getting some info on the bike and the brand in general. I've been searching the internet for information on Giovani bikes, but haven't really found much.

The seller says its from 1968 (possibly just the frame), and it looks to have campagnolo components.

Any info on the brand itself and the bike (quality, ca year and value) is much appreciated!

I have a soft spot for yellow bikes :)

Lack of braze ons, lugs, design and the fork rake look more 70's that 60's ? That would tie in with the components and the drillium.

It looks a top class bike perhaps early 70's. it seems class bikes of this name were retailed in Norway.

The names on many bikes do not always signify the maker.

Re:

Thanks for the info, guys.

Unfortunately I won't be buying the bike. The owner claimed it was ridden in the 68 Olympics and called it "a relic" fit for serious collectors. Didn't want to name a price, just said he wanted "as much as possible"...

Re:

Think someone called Martens built them in the 70s. I would be surprised if it was in the 68 Olympics.
