I'm doing up (well, turning it from a wreck into something saleable) a 1978 BSA Women's 3-speed at the moment, and I'm almost ready to flog it but have got stuck at the mudguard stage.
Everything I can find on eBay seems to be for mountain bikes or hybrids, including a set that I paid £14 for which claimed to fit the bill but I basically had to bin because the fitting was too wide, and even though I pinched the end of the mudguard to fit in between the rear stays the clip kept springing out. The spacing was all wrong anyway.
Can anyone recommend a narrow and inexpensive mudguard that would fit a 26 x 1 1/4 inch wheel?
