help to identify my colnago

broizy

Retro Newbie
hi everybody,
bought this yesterday for 350 euros and I'm trying to figure what it exactly is.
looks like a master but the colombus decal does not tell us anything. (gilco?)
the guy told me that the first owner bought it from a pro team.
never saw this paintjob elsewhere.
thank you for your help.

Nice bike - get out and enjoy it!

However, that looks like a Modolo stem - I had one like it on my Colnago and those stems have a tendency to fracture. Mine did - I could hear a creaking noise which I could not locate until I read an article about fractured/broken Modolo stems and, sure enough, when I checked my stem, it had a hairline fracture on the side, just back of the bolt.

I've since replaced the stem :) and the creaking disappeared.

Check it regularly is the best advice I can offer ;)

Re:

I went for a quick ride this morning and decided to sell my TVT 92 :D .
the guy also gave me the original 3T stem so I'll switch when replacing the bar tape.
