Hello
I am awaiting the arrival of a few bikes, one of which is a Colnago with a 531 decal or perhaps a 531 bike with Colnago decals! I don't have a good enough image to clearly see lug cutouts or bb shell types. I'm not so sure Colnago ever built anything with Reynolds myself, I thought one of the well informed folk here may be able to enlighten me wether or not such a machine has ever existed or if I may have bought something from a sticker happy kind of chappy!
Any thoughts would be most useful, frame is blood red, steel, and most likely from the mid to early eighties.
Thank you

Re:

Our 1971 Colnago was built with butted 531. Still in original paint, but looking a bit tired. Supplied by JD Whisker.

The seat lug has an original brazed in sleeve to fit a 26.4.

Not sure if it's made by de rosa or colnago but it's 531, thinks it's Eddy Merckx 1975 tour bike.
