Looking to Borrow Head-tube Reamer.

Hey guys,

Im in the middle of doing my first restoration. Im restoring a Dawes Galaxy from the 70/80's, (Not managed to pin an exact date on it). I've had it blasted and powder-coated in british racing green however I need to reface the head tube before I can press in a new headset and as its not something i'm going to be doing on a regular basis i'm hesitant to spend hundreds of pounds on buying one.

So my question is, does anyone have a 1" headtube reaming tool that I could borrow please. I know its a big ask, but its the only thing I can think of. Im in Leeds if anyone is close but if anybody is kindhearted and trusting enough post one to me for me to post it back I will quite happily pay the postage both ways.

Many thanks.
Sam

Re:

If you need to do this because of the excess powdercoat around the headtube, I use a stanley knife.
