Old MKM frame and bits

Re:

Nice one! Doesn't look that rusty? Is keeping the paint not an option?

77-78 Frame

MKM made the Dominator, Ace, Track and Ultimate by name but as they were such a small outfit they would basically make you what they wanted and put MKM / Mason etc. Decals on it as requested.

Looks like a Dominator with shot in stays :)

Very nice

Hmm . I quite like the idea of giving it the oily rag special treatment .

This would be my choice! Looks too good to strip back and repaint - I'd keep it as-is just with a mechanical rebuild and lots of fresh grease.

Re:

Shaun you are correct that this one is a Dominator .

Is it a metallic bronze sort of colour underneath? If so very MKM and likely original :). They also liked to use a metallic grey which was very classy but usually badged as Wes Mason.

Just out of curiosity is the braze on underneath the downtube shifters to stop them slipping flat or a sticky out spike ?

Shaun

Badly faded red /rust and a stuck seat post  . yes it has a stop on the underside .Flat style
