Mystery eBay Frame arrived

Mystery frame arrived from eBay, listed as a Raleigh 531c

Drilled lugs, bottom bracket, rear dropouts, single gear boss, no chainstay bridge, fork rake pretty straight. No Numbers stamped on the frame 531 sticker looks genuine as masked out, overspray on the EDCO headset.

Seat post (27.2) and stem locked solid. :( Sanded down some spray on paint and no sign of any other decals just some grey primer.

It's a 70's TT bike so going to think about putting it back to the days it would have been ridden in anger :D

Funny you should mention that, I have some genuine home made (by me) black and decker drillium from the 70's :)

Yep, uncanny to the point where I feel confident in calling it an Aendé :D

Going to have it finished and decaled as such. I saw Steve Denton way back and I'm sure his Aendé was deepish dark metallic blue with white decals. That will do for me.

As this is going to stay, I'll send it to a frame builder to check it all out before refinishing.
