Just having a quick turnaround of this Comete frame - just wondering what to put on it:

Have:
French hubs, pedals and cranks from Miche/ Stronglight/ Navar
but no French mechs - I have Campag, Shimano and Suntour of the period - Mavic stuff is a bit out my budget - any ideas greatly appreciated.
Should it be a period refurb or should I stick stuff on like my late '80s ( and currently very sought after) Campag Deltas and C.Record mechs?
