raleigh team panasonic frame number

Hi
I have a raleigh team panasonic frame and the series number is sb7602, does anyone know what the sb stands for? or when it was built? its also engraved under the number with 64.5 which is the frame size.

SB stands for Special Bikes as in Special Bikes Development Unit at Ilkeston, very classy. A Google search of SBDU Raleigh should show up what you need. 7602 is the sequential frame number and will give the year of manufacture.

PS. The frame number is from 1985-1986 if memory serves, is there an H on the bottom bracket or any other initials?
