Planet X retro rims

Has anyone used any of the planet x retro rims in a wheel build before?

I'm tempted to try them out over some ambrosio rims for my wheel build once I've found some suitable hubs.

I would take a good look at the spoke holes (see above) they dont appear to be very well positioned.

Are those spoke holes the offset type to reduce dish rather than bad manufacture?

Personally its how far they are offset right on were the rim curves round and as there retro theres no eyelets for extra strength.( you would normally use spoke nipple washers on this type of rim). when there built theres going to be a lot of stress on that edge.
