Sorry, don't know much about them, except they were French. You probably knew that, from the head badge!

I really just wanted to say you have done some great work there, the bike looks very elegant. You must be proud of it.
Please post more pictures when she is finished.

That is a thing of pure beauty!!

Sorry, can make no more constructive comments.... don't know anything about delangle.

Wow, it looked pretty cool before the restoration, too!

Get some more Proofide on that saddle - there's a shine in there yet :D

Re:

Lovely, I have a soft spot for pre war French bikes, and that's gorgeous, an elegant restoration, well done. There is some info on the french forum tontonvelo http://forum.tontonvelo.com/viewtopic.p ... le#p189972 , its well worth joining and if your french isn't too hot google translate does a job. I have recently restored a 1934 Jean Louvet https://www.flickr.com/photos/tk_photos/12850961935/ so looking at your angles, those brakes, dropouts and crank, my guess would be late thirties at least. Well done, Terry

thanks guys..yes im really proud of it. specially after all the days spent grinding and sanding with the dremmel..

the brake are Bowden sport turist, all the other parts are branded delangle.
Even the saddle..i reshaped it, leaving it in hot water for 8 hours spred it with leather grass and tight it with an old wheel tube till dry.(couple of days).
what is Proofide and what for???
I seal all the metal part with ovatrol and than over coated with clear 2k laquer. but im not satisfy about it 'coz the metal now is look too dark, so that's why i m planning to recrome it.

I've been trough tontonvelo and its where i found the few info i got.

I also found a bit older sister here:
http://www.sterba-bike.cz/produkt/delan ... 0s?lang=EN
the price was ridiculous expensive..over 1,000. but it has the original paint, so is may be justify.

what you guys think about wooden rims (as the original)? i found a set for 100 pound..

cheers.

p.s sorry about my bad english.
