have a Raleigh Ace (gas pipe Ti era tubing) which I am using for Eroica and perhaps other classic events
It has some rust (not a surprise after 30 years) on the normal chain stay etc areas in the entries of tubes to the lugs etc
nothing too desparate and all tubes "ring" ok to a tap
am i right in thinking that the tbing is thick/strong enough to allow me just to do some suface cleaning and pain touching up without much danger of breakage?- the frame is not worth recoating and I like the battered/aged look - fits in with its rider!
