Fluidisk 666 Disc Wheels

Hello,

I have the chance to buy a pair of Fluidisk/666 disc wheels for my Rossin Pursuit bike one 700c and a front 650c. I have been looking around for these wheels for a while now but there is very little information about them online. Does anyone know the history of these?

I know they're Russian and I believe made from Kevlar.

Here is a similar Rossin with the Fluidisk wheels -

I would be very grateful for any information on these wheels.

Thanks,
Matt

I still think this special bike deserves the best & that is Ghibli Discs :)

I thought Fluidisk and 666 where different wheels?

Regardless, those Russian kevlar discs are very cool
A Ghibli 700 rear and a Scirocco semi-disc 650 front would also look pretty good with the gusseted triangle of the Rossin (if you could ever find one of those old Scirocco's)

The wheels have both 666 and Fluidisk decals on so I presumed they were the same. I agree Ghibli 700 rear and a Scirocco semi-disc 650 would look great but as you say, super hard to come by.

My build is predominantly Russian as it was previously owned by the Russian Olympic coach. I think it's nice that I use some Russian parts.

With you on using Fluidisks over Campag.

There was a brand name "Juna" associated with these wheels too.

Here is the wheelset. I don't have a photo of them together yet.
