Help identifying a Koga Miyata

eaglos

Retro Newbie
Greetings to all.

I am offered a Koga Miyata, serial number M435105.
Owner claims it to be Tange Champion frame with
HM-2 fork.

The bike's top tube calble guides and dropout eyelets
look similar to a 1983/1984 Roadwinner, Superwinner,
Granwinner. On the other hand, headtube badge and
top tube cable guides look similar to some 1986 models...

Basicaly, I cannot pair all three (guides, eyelets, badge)
with a specific model... If I put the fork into the equation
it gets more complicated so I am leaving out for now.

Here are some photos.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I have narrowed it down to 1984-1986 judging
by cable guides and eyelets. This would make the Tange
Champion claim void but the owner insists that the sticker
existed on the seat tube but he could not salvage it like
the other two.

The thing is that while Tange Champion appears in 1980-1983
catalogues, none of the bikes in them match the one in question.
Could it be that they used left over tubing in post 1984 models?

Also, badge is way off center which makes me think that it
is not the original, instead it was fitted afterwards. So I am
not taking into consideration anymore.

The bike is now in my possession so I am posting a few photos
just in case someone can figure out a bit more about the frame.

Also, two photos of the rim. It has no decals or any other writing on the outside.

Edit: The most obvious measurement, seatpost is 26.4mm so this only leaves
me with a couple of models (Granwinner and a few others).
