Raleigh threaded freewheel removal

Can anyone point me in the correct direction in where I can get hold of a threaded free-wheel removal tool for a 1985 team cadet ? Don't want to butcher it :(

If it's only going to be the once then an LBS should be able to whip it off in a couple of minutes. :)

Does it have 2 slots on the body next to the small sprocket or a circle with about 24 slots?

Shaun

Yep, have to agree with that.........we put a long skewer with a large washer to clamp the remover onto the freewheel, if you didn't it jumped of !!

Shaun

Just forgot to ask.........I take it you have a vice?

Putting the remover on and using a *big* spanner / breaker bar tends to bend the wheel.
