Ellis Briggs 80's tt bike. Worth snapping up?

A colleague of mine is getting rid of her (fairly) old tt bike. She briefly raced for 2nd GB team as a late teen in the 80's and her then local shop Ellis Briggs made her up tt and road racing bikes; she still has the tt in fairly unmolested condition getting in the way in her shed.

She describes it as handbuilt aluminium with fairly top drawer kit for its day.
And its blue.

Is it worth 'taking off her hands' (hubby wants ger to just give it away. I feel the morals of going along with this are a bit suss.) Or should I try and flog it for her: I had a good scoot around various forums and can't really get much idea what its worth, except i s'pose as one of the few shops that still weld their own bikes it might have a bit of cachet.

any advice much appreciated!

Can you post a photo? Can't tell just from a brief description. I'm not aware that Ellis Briggs ever made any aluminium frames but might have sold one from elsewhere such as an Alan or a Vitus. If there's a frame number, why not contact them? They're still going strong in Shipley.

If it's in reasonable condition I'm sure there will be a market for it.
