I need to purchase a new chain for a build - specifically to run on 8-speed campag. I see that many brands - KMC for example do 6/7/8 speed chains. 8 speed only chains for sale isn't happening so the question is - do 9 & 10 speed chains work as low as 8 speed or are they too narrow? I ask as I've used the aforementioned KMC before and found it to be a bit heavy compared to the newer stuff. BTW - it needs to work for indexed shifting if anyone knows of a decent chain to recommend.
